Water Distribution Points as a New Year Gift for Locals
On the 3rd January 2021, Mr. Varawut Silpa-Archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment together with Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of Natural Resources and Environment officially visited and observed installation of the water distribution point in the area authorized under the Groundwater Resources Regional Center 3 (Saraburi). This water distribution point has supplied 12,240 liters of clean groundwater supply for over 390 locals (during 29th December 2020 – 2nd January 2021).
The Department of Groundwater Resources has provided 24 groundwater distribution points along main roads nationwide and 13 groundwater distribution points nationwide as a new year gift for people. During 28th December 2020 – 2nd January 2021, around 9,000 people benefited from the system supplying over 1.15 million liters of clean groundwater.
